Classic Pics Of Mixed Nuts (1995-2002)

One of the earliest known shot of Mixed Nuts. This is a picture from Chuck's 15th Birthday Party in 1995. The early Nuts, which was the former High Voltage, included Chuck, Russell Argence on Bass, Paul White on Vocal, Mike VanVraken on Drums, and Joey Berry on GUITAR (check out that haircut...totally 90s).

Fastforward to 1998. After practicing and playing small shows at parties, Mixed Nuts played its first public show on February 28th, 1998 at the Lutheran Church on Canal Blvd for the "Each One, Save One" Benefit Concert. Here is a picture of Chuck Credo Jr. from the famed Basin Street Six (Chuck IV's Grandfather) singing his classic hit, Marie Laveau!

Here are Chuck and Danny in May 1998 after a performance of "Grease" at Archbishop Rummel High School.

One of our best shows came on Aug. 7th, 1998 when we played for a packed house at Shipwreck Cafe on Causeway Blvd. The Cafe is no longer there, but for two weekends (Aug 7th, and Aug 14th), the place was rockin'!

This is a picture for the post card sent out for our very first Rock 'N' Bowl show in 1998.

Back in the Summer of '99: we were paired with many groups at Rock 'N' Bowl that summer and sometimes played on the "South Stage" there.

Our Baton Rouge photo shoot in the year 2000 produced many classic pics of the band, including this shot which served as our promo picture for three years.

The Nuts took over Baton Rouge in 2000, the boys all attended school at L.S.U. from 2000-2003. It was a WILD three years! Here are the boys at a famous Chicken establishment...
